Meet the new boss, same as the old boss....

An important day today. Not for me. New president, hopefully he can follow through with his words. I don't have faith in any politician so we shall see. It was emotional and moving to hear him speak and to witness it. And it is getting old hearing the wealthier people at the gym bitch and moan. How he's a terrorist, a Muslim, non-American, blah blah blah. Everyone has a right to their opinion, but really? At least make a valid argument. In other news....

Spent 5 hours today of note taking. Realized stacking my classes this way was a terrible idea. Ah well. 2 of my teachers are from Africa. Kinda cool actually. Besides the thick accents, which isn't that bad. Makes you pay attention a bit more. Should be required on all teachers. Though my history teacher proved to me you are able to ramble in a monotone voice while jumping around topic to topic like a kid with ADHD. My notes are a mess.

Today makes a year for my female friend and I's "relationship." 4 months of the actual label and the rest has been a roller coaster of ups and downs. What we are now, who knows. She is someone who I hold dear to my heart. Sure things have been fucked up at times. And I am not a fan of not having the label, but she is someone who I hold closet to my heart. I could go on more, but this is public and somethings I just leave to myself. I more of a listener than a talker anyways.

And I finish up on a lighter note and something you should keep in mind. Over the past couple of years I have been saving up my loose change and putting it into jars. Every once and awhile I will put into my back account. Often times 50 to 60 bucks, the most has been 200 bucks. That took too much patience and too many zip lock bags. And to add onto that, I now take half of my tips and put away for safekeeping. So now I am going to make this a monthly thing. It's truly something you should consider. Especially in times like these at least. But I'd be the last person to take financial advice from, my views? Save!

Well, hit and quit it. I am off to slumber. 2 hour lecture for human bio tomorrow, whoopee! Carpal Tunnel is going to kick in here soon. Sorry if this blog was sub-par, but atleast I didn't skip a day...

  1. Saving=excellent. Put that money in a Roth IRA, young one. Time is on your side, and now's a great time to invest while prices are low, low, low!!!
